Best Amazon Review:Maurice Barbanell (d. 1981) was a Spiritualist lecturer, as well as the editor of the "Psychic News" weekly paper, and the monthly magazine "Two Worlds." He also wrote other books such as He Walks in Two Worlds: The Story of John Myers, Psychic Photographer, Healer & Philanthropist, Power of the spirit, Harry Edwards and His Healing, etc. He wrote in the Foreword to this 1959 book, "I am a convinced Spiritualist because life after death has been proved, beyond the shadow of doubt, to me... For thirty-seven years I have witnessed extraordinary psychic phenomena which, in my judgment, have only one explanation. They were caused by intelligences belonging to individuals who no longer animate mortal frames." He admits, "I have met fraud, both willful and unconscious. I think I can say that I have exposed more charlatans in this field than any other person. My ability to unmask the trickster has been due to the fact that I have witnessed so many genuine phenomena that I was able to recognise the counterfeit.
